Thanks to V. Prakapchuk’s initiative, a new species of birds – PINK-FOOTED GOOSE (Anser brachyrhynchus) – can be added to the national list. Photos of a “strange” goose appeared on the hunter forum. It was shot on 11.IV.2015. In autumn on 02.IX two alive birds were seen by Dz. Vincheuski in Hrodna. These will be the 1st and the 2nd records if approved by the Belarusian Ornitho-Faunistic Commission.
