BLACK-THROATED ACCENTOR (Prunella atrogularis) - was trapped and ringed today by Vytautas Eigirdas in Ventės Ragas ringing station, Šilutė district. Bird has a black crown, face patch and throat, white supercilium, orange breast.
This species distributed across temperate and subarctic Asia. It's a migrant, wintering in India and other parts of southern Asia.
It is a rare vagrant in western Europe. This is the 5th new species in 2015 for Lithuania!
